Turriff Cottage Hospital reopens

We are pleased to share the news that staff have now returned to Turriff Hospital and the ward has reopened

Geraldine Fraser the Partnership Manager for Aberdeenshire Health & Social Care Partnership has issued the following statement

I’m writing to provide an update on the services at Turriff Cottage Hospital. I’m pleased to inform you that the ward has reopened to patient admissions today (Monday 22nd February).

Over the past few weeks Turriff staff have made a vital contribution in ensuring that health and social care services in the Central Aberdeenshire area have continued to run effectively where there have been staff shortages. The nursing team has also been instrumental in supporting the Covid vaccination programme, helping to ensure that all of our care home and very sheltered housing residents have been vaccinated.

We are pleased to share the news that staff have now returned to Turriff Hospital and the ward has reopened.
