Most of the south of England and all the east coast of the UK is on a yellow weather warning for rain on Saturday & Sunday.
The warning is a result of Storm Alex which is currently battering north west France and Brittany.
The Met Office warning says that most areas can expect to see 25 – 50 mm of rain but the higher ground in the North East of Scotland could see double that with up to 125mm expected.
Patchy rain will head in from the east during the morning on Saturday getting heavier into Saturday afternoon. Sunday is expected to be wet and blustery.
The warning is in place from 03:00 on Saturday until 18:00 Sunday.
There may be some localised flooding and disruption.
