Met Office issue Yellow warning for Snow on Monday

A Yellow warning for snow has been issued by the Met Office for Monday. Sleet & snow will move northwards during the day bringing the possibility of difficult driving conditions for the evening rushour.

The Met Office has issued a Yellow warning for Snow from 03:00 until 22:00 on Monday.

The forecast for tonight and Monday is, clear for most during the night -1 with a light frost in the morning.  Monday will start dry but sleet and snow, even at lower levels, will start to drive northwards during the morning. It is likely that coastal areas in the North East will see mostly rain during the day with some sleet.

Turriff will most likely see sleet and only snow on the higher ground. Snow is expected more to the west in Aberchirder, Huntly & Keith.

Driving conditions for the evening rush hour could be more difficult.
