Stagecoach Bluebird is inviting customers to give feedback on proposed changes to timetables.
The proposals come following an extensive review of the network and travel habits in the area. Customer research has shown that many find travelling by bus confusing and difficult to understand and Stagecoach Bluebird hopes that their revised timetables will make it much easier for non-existing bus users to try travelling by bus. The consultation is open until Sunday 16th February with the new timetables proposed to begin operation on Monday 6th April 2020.
The main change that will affect Turriff is the removal of the 05:49 journey from Banff to Aberdeen (Monday-Friday) which currently leaves Turriff at 06:20 will now start at Oldmeldrum at 06:52, leaving anyone between Banff and Oldmeldrum high and dry.
You can read about all the proposed changes in the North East here on the Stagecoach website and you can see the proposed 35 timetables here.
Feedback is welcomed from today until Sunday 16th February and can be submitted via email to bluebird.enquiries@stagecoachbus.com or at one of the events listed below.
