Appeal following vehicle vandalisms in Turriff

Published by Mike Rawlins

Officers from Police Scotland in Turriff are investigating vandalism to two vehicles in the Beaconsfield Terrace area of the town.

The incidents are thought to have occurred sometime on the lead up to Tuesday 12 February 2019 and saw a silver Vauxhall Corsa and a silver Vauxhall Mokka sustain scratches to the bodywork of each.

It is estimated that the damage caused to the vehicles is valued at around a low four-figure sum of money.

Investigating officer PC Alison Davis said

Vandalism causes great inconvenience and expense to victims and will not be tolerated. If anyone recalls seeing anyone acting suspiciously in the Beaconsfield Terrace area I would ask that they get in touch with police.

Anyone with information can call Police Scotland on 101 quoting reference 2640 of 13 February.
