Democracy Matters Conversation

Published by Mike Rawlins

As part of the Scottish Government initiative, the Formartine Partnership want to hear your voice and the voices of your friends and neighbours in a discussion about local communities deciding their own future.

We think communities being more in control will create exciting opportunities. If you agree, does this mean communities having a stronger voice when decisions about them are taken? Is it about having the powers and resources to use as they think best?

This conversation will cover the whole of the Formartine area and will be a good opportunity to meet and discuss with other local people, opportunities and ideas, for our communities to take more control about local decision making.

If you would like to attend please RSVP by 26th November 2018 to peterridout@formartinepartnership.org.uk

We are hoping that a least two people will attend from each community/settlement.

Refreshments provided.

This event is funded by Democracy Matters Community Engagement Fund.
