Frozen food preparation and packaging company, Greenyard Frozen UK Ltd, has taken the precautionary step of voluntarily recalling various frozen vegetable products because they might contain Listeria monocytogenes.
The frozen vegetables have been packed for sale in a number of major supermarkets. Recall notices will be displayed in stores which have been affected by the recall.
The products listed below might be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes.
Symptoms caused by this organism can be similar to flu and include high temperature, muscle ache or pain, chills, feeling or being sick and diarrhoea.
Some people are more vulnerable to listeria infections, including those over 65 years of age, pregnant women and their unborn babies, babies less than one-month-old and people with weakened immune systems.
The full list of products and codes can be found below. If you have any of the products listed you should not eat them but return them to the store where they were purchased for a full refund.
