RBS Turriff to close as planned

The Turriff branch of the Royal Bank of Scotland will be closing on 26 June 2018. Ten other branches will be remaining open whilst their use is independently assessed

Royal Bank of Scotland have announced that a number of branches which had previously been earmarked for closure, will remain open whilst their use is independently assessed.

The ten branches are

  • Biggar
  • Beauly
  • Castlebay on Barra
  • Comrie
  • Douglas in Lanarkshire
  • Gretna
  • Inveraray
  • Melrose
  • Kyle
  • Tongue

Turriff and Banff branches will still face closure along with branches in

  • Ellon
  • Huntly
  • Montrose
  • Dyce
  • Bridge of Don

According to the website of the 72% state-owned bank,  Turriff branch will close on 26 June 2018 with Banff closing its doors on 23 May.
