Officers in Turriff are appealing for information following a vandalism at The Haughs.

Sometime between 5.00pm on Friday 27 October and 9.00am on Tuesday 31 October, metal railings and wooden slats were damaged at the underpass at The Haughs in Turriff.

The estimated cost of the damage caused is thought to be around a low four-figure sum.

Investigating Officer Constable Alfie Stuart said

Mindless damage such as this is not acceptable. I would like to appeal to the public to contact police if they saw anything suspicious during these times in and around The Haughs, in Turriff.
