Fireworks Against Cancer 2017

Published by Mike Rawlins

The annual Fireworks Against Cancer son et lumière will take place on Saturday 21 October at the new venue of Turriff Show Ground.

The event which started in 2014 is used to raise funds for UCAN, the Urological cancer support charity based at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. The event and fireworks are funded entirely by donations and sponsorship from local businesses so that every penny donated on the night, goes to UCAN to help fund their work in Aberdeen.

The event is free entry, with donation collections on the night, the organisers suggest a £10 per person donation or as much as visitors can afford to donate.

You can keep up to date with the latest news from Fireworks Against Cancer on their Facebook page. If any local businesses would like to support the event, they can contact the organisers via the Facebook page.
