Restricted service at Turriff household waste site

Aberdeenshire Council is carrying out essential resurfacing work done at the Turriff Recycling Centre next week.

On Monday 2, Tuesday 3 and Wednesday the 4 October the site will be open but under traffic management and there will be restrictions on what items can be taken into the site.

 

Vehicles with trailers will not be able to access the site for the three days and the following waste products will not be able to be accepted on site during the work

  • Vegetable & Engine oils
  • Glass and Co-mingled recycling
  • Batteries & Electricals
Also on My Turriff
No plans to close Turriff Cottage Hospital

Any of these can be taken to any of the other household waste recycling centres at Ellon, Inverurie or Macduff for disposal during the three days.

Only

  • household waste
  • green
  • timber
  • stones & soil
  • scrap
  • cardboard

will be accepted on Monday 2, Tuesday 3 and Wednesday the 4 October.
