Turriff Men's Shed workshop

The fledgling Turriff Men’s Shed has received a cash boot from the Gordon and Ena Baxter Foundation.

The group based at Rosehall in Turriff have been given an award of £500 by the foundation for a new bench planer.

Trustees of the Gordon and Ena Baxter Foundation were delighted by the quality of applications received and the diversity and innovation of sustainable initiatives showcased.

Foundation manager Kay Jackson said

The Gordon and Ena Baxter Foundation gives money to those making a positive difference in their communities and we were left in no doubt just how huge an impact these projects will have. We are proud to continue the Baxter family tradition of helping worthy causes in the area and would like to congratulate all those involved and thank them for their inspirational work.
