Dyce Park and Ride open for business

Buses started using the new £15.2million Dyce Park and Ride on Monday 30 January.

The new Park and Ride facility on the new dual carriageway between Dyce Drive and the A96 has spaces for 1000 cars and has buses leaving for Union Square every 10 minutes during the week and every 20 minutes at weekends.

The park and ride service is run by Stagecoach with travel from Dyce Park and Ride to the city centre costing £3 the ticket is valid for unlimited travel on any Stagecoach buses throughout the city for the day.

The Dyce development will provide space for up to 1,000 vehicles, as well as waiting accommodation, and cycle lockers and showering facilities. Initially, the car parking and bus stop areas only will be open to the public. The waiting accommodation and cycle shelters are due to be open within a few weeks.
