Three more charged for Markethill vandalism

Police Scotland have confirmed that three further teenagers, two males aged 17 years and a male aged 13 years have been charged in relation to the incident at Markethill Primary School, Turriff, which was reported to Police on Sunday November 20, 2016.

Today’s charges bring the total number of people charged to five, a 14-year-old female and an 18-year-old male have previously been charged in relation to the incident.

A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.

Detective Sergeant George Nixon, investigating officer, said
