Public consultation on any potential Haughs redevelopment

Turriff Boating Pond

Aberdeenshire Council are running a survey to gather views from members of the community in the Turriff and District Ward who use, or would use the Haughs in Turriff. The importance of the Haughs is recognised, and Aberdeenshire Council are keen to gather ideas from the community on what they would like to see happen in the area.

They are inviting the community to take part in a short survey on the Haughs Redevelopment, which should take no more than 10 – 15 minutes to complete. You can access the survey at

The survey closes at midnight on Sunday 23 October 2016.

People have highlighted that there is an issue with Question 10 in the survey where you can only select one answer, Aberdeenshire Council have looked in to this and issued the following statement

The issue with Q10 has been investigated. Unfortunately it was not identified when it was tested and now that the survey is live and has been responded to, we cannot make an amendment. I would be grateful if you could advise this through My Turriff giving our apologies for any inconvenience and suggest that respondents use the free text box to highlight their additional answers. We will pick up the responses at the workshop session.

So if you want to select more than one option in question 10, use the additional text box at the bottom of the question

A public meeting is scheduled to take place on Thursday 27 October 2017 at 6.30pm in Turriff Academy. If you are interested in hearing about the results of the survey, or would like to find out more about the redevelopment of the Haughs, then please go along to this meeting.
