Motorcyclist killed near Cuminestown named

Police Scotland have released the name of the motorcyclist who was killed after his bike was involved in a collision with a car on Thursday

Gary Andrew, 46, was from the Cuminestown area.

His family made the following statement

We are all devastated at the sudden loss of Gary, a very much loved husband, son, son-in-law, brother & uncle and a friend to many. He will be sorely missed.

We would appreciate time to come to terms with our loss.

Officers continue to appeal for anyone with information or may have seen the vehicles involved in the collision who have not yet come forward to contact Police on 101.
