Whose Shoes? Seamus’ Shoes!

Published by Mike Rawlins

In Turriffs own version of Cinderella we can reveal that after the appeal by officers at Turriff Police Station, the owner of the grey Nike SB shoes has been found.

After the appeal on the My Turriff Facebook page, Seamus Church was tagged in the post as the owner of the shoes and told by a family member to, ‘go and get them back’.

Sargent Davie Threadgold of the Turriff Neighbourhood Police Unit said

Seamus was on a night out and turned up at his old house on Balmellie Place, tried to get in, woke the current occupant whose dog went crazy sending him down the street, without his shoes.

The home owner called us, we attended found that there was no damage to the property and picked the shoes up. Through the power of Facebook, he was ‘tagged’ as being the owner and hey presto…. he got them back.

Seamus went to Turriff Police Station this weekend to collect his shoes from his Prince Charming, Sargent Threadgold.
