Police Scotland officers in Turriff are appealing for information following a theft by housebreaking at Cuminestown Industrial Estate, Turriff.

The theft, which occurred at an industrial unit, is thought to have occurred sometime between midday Thursday 18 August 2016 and the early hours of Sunday 21 August 2016 and resulted in the theft of hand tools valued at a mid four figure sum of money.

PC Alasdair MacHardy, from Turriff Community Police Team, who is investigating the incident, said

If anyone is offered any hand tools and they suspect them to be stolen I would ask them to get in touch.

I would also urge anyone that has any information regarding the theft or who witnessed anyone in the vicinity between last Thursday and Sunday to contact Police Scotland on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 if they wish to remain anonymous.
