Police appeal for witnesses to fatal collision on Great Northern Road

Were you in Aberdeen on Saturday, maybe heading to Kittybrewster or Berryden?

Police Scotland are appealing to the public for information following a serious road traffic collision on Great Northern Road, Aberdeen near to its junction with Clifton Road at about 1200 hours on Saturday 13 August 2016.

If anyone saw the collision involving a black Yamaha R6 motorcycle, a black Vauxhall Adam and silver Volkswagen Caravelle, Police Scotland are asking them to come forward.

Sergeant Malcolm Kinross of Divisional Road Policing Unit said

We are dealing with a tragic incident and our thoughts and condolences are with the family and friends of the motorcyclist . At the time of the accident the road was busy and I believe a number of people may have seen the accident or stopped at the scene of the accident. I am appealing to anyone who may have any information regarding the accident to contact Police Scotland on 101
