It had been reported to My Turriff earlier this week that there has been instances of public indecency in Turriff with a male appearing to expose himself to people.
Police Scotland have today confirmed that a man has been arrested in Turriff and charged in relation to the reports.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said
A 64 year old man has been arrested and charged in relation to a public indecency in the Turriff area and is anticipated to appear at Peterhead Sheriff Court today, Wednesday, 8 June.
