The 1st Turriff Girls Brigade, which is the first new company to be formed in Scotland for over 30 years, had their dedication service at St Andrews Church Turriff on Sunday.
The church was full and all 17 members of the brigade attended the service showing off their new uniforms.
Company Captain, Claire Donald said
This was our very first public appearance as a company. They made me proud and honoured to stand beside them as their Captain, but of course none of this would be possible if it wasn’t for the hard work, support and dedication of my fellow officers and Auxiliarys.
New girls, P1 through to S6 are always welcome to join the company which meets on Friday evenings 6.30 – 8 at St Andrews church hall.
