Aberdeenshire Council have received a request from 17 of the elected members to call a special meeting of the full authority.
The request for the special meeting comes on the back of the agreement between the SNP, Progressive Alliance and Democratic Independent Group to work together to form a new administration for the authority.

Aberdeenshire Council have confirmed that the request received today has been declared valid and that the meeting will be held on Monday, June 8.
The agenda for the meeting is
- To replace the current Provost and Deputy Provost with new appointees.
- To consider a report on the appointment of elected members to committees and to such other internal and external bodies as to be detailed in such report.
- To consider a report on remuneration of elected members.
- To consider the Full Council decision of 28 June 2012 to define groups, group leaders, leader of the administration, etc.
The special meeting will take place in the council chamber of Aberdeenshire Council’s Woodhill House headquarters on Westburn Road, Aberdeen, at 10.15am on Monday, June 8.
