Police Scotland have advised that the B9105 between Turriff and Fintry is currently closed due to a serious road traffic collision .
The collision which involved two vehicles happened at around 1055 today and has left one man dead, another man is thought to have sustained minor injuries in the collision.
Location is approximately 4 miles from Turriff. Police Scotland, an engine from Turriff Fire Station and ambulances are currently at the scene.
Local diversions are in place as the road will be closed for several hours to allow for collision investigations and police advise motorists to use alternative routes.
The road is closed at Causewayend crossroads near to Milltown of Craigston and at the junction with the A947 at Whitelodge.
