Gordon Skiers are looking for new members to join them this winter and are holding an open trials day on Saturday 31 August.
The club are looking for new members who have skiing ability that can be built upon with regular training sessions. To trial for the club you need to be over 6 and a confident skier who can handle the Grouse, Osprey and Eagle 1 & 2 tows at the Lecht.
If you are interested in trying out for the club and training for ski racing then head over to Alford Dry Ski Slope at 1000 on Saturday 31 August.
The club ask that you bring your own skis, boots etc. if you have them. If you don’t have your own kit they will be able to kit you out at the ski-slope.
Places for the Autumn dry slope training are limited and will be judged on skiing ability. The coach’s decision will be final. If the coaches feel that you are not ready for the club this time, they will be providing feedback on areas to work on.
