Police in Turriff are keen to speak to anyone who has any information about an incident of theft of diesel near Turriff on Monday.
Officers in Aberdeenshire and Moray Division are appealing for witnesses after a quantity of diesel was stolen from an HGV lorry in the Turriff area of Aberdeenshire.
The incident occurred between 10pm on Monday 15 July, and 7am on Tuesday 16 July, within a layby on the A947, just north of Broomhill Road, on the outskirts of Turriff. As a result of the incident, approximately 240 litres of diesel valued at a low three-figure sum was stolen.
Officers are keen to trace anybody who may have seen anyone acting suspiciously in the area during this time.
