Aberdeenshire Council are currently advertising for the role of Town Centre Coordinator, the part-time role is part of the Turriff Retail Improvement Scheme and a fixed term contract to 31 December 2014.
We are seeking an articulate, pro-active and enthusiastic individual interesting in working with the local business community to strengthen the vitality and viability of Turriff Town Centre. You are cost conscious, commercially aware and able to organise people and deliver initiatives. You will assist local groups with the identification of priorities, resourcing and implementing events, projects and initiatives. You will coordinate proposed projects and proposals between local interest groups through the delivery of an agreed Action Plan. The successful applicant will be skilled at developing relationships with key stakeholders and interest groups and have excellent planning and time management skills. The Town Centre Coordinator role is 14.5 hours a week, based at Towie house and the closing date for applications is 8 February 2013.
