Turriff & District Heritage Society needs your help.
As we have previously reported on Visit Turriff, Turriff & District Heritage Society are going to be losing around £20,000 or funding from Aberdeenshire Council next year.
This cut in in funding will effect The Auld Post Office Museum and the work they do in the Community with the Schools & Playgroups throughout the area as well as the support they offer to people looking to trace family members from the area.
As well as asking local businesses to help with fund raising, Turriff & District Heritage Society have applied to the RBS Community Fund, to try and get a funding award of up to £6000 that will help towards the shortfall.
The RBS Community Fund is decided by votes from the community so we need YOU to do your bit to help out by spending a few moments casting your vote on the RBS Community Fund website, you can get to the RBS Community Fund website using the link at the bottom of this article. Please ask your friends and family to do the same to keep The Auld Post Office & Turriff & District Heritage Society going for future generations
The top 3 projects with most votes in each Community area will receive grant funding from the RBS.
