Does anyone remember when Turriff railway station was still around and the Turriff Extension Railway still ran?
The railway the station and the yard were on what is now Turriff Caravan Park
The stations were
- king Edward
- Banff & Macduff
If you look on Google maps carefully you can still see the route the line took.
If you do remember the railway, it stopped running in the 1950s so you need to be of a certain age to remember it, but if you do please leave a comment to tell us about it.
