Turriff United are using crowdfunding to help raise funds to help with repairs and renovations at the ground after the January flooding.
The Turriff United Just Giving page was launched this morning as the club hope to raise £1000 to help bring the ground back up to the standard it was prior to the floods.
The clubs pitch at the Haughs was submerged under more than three feet of water after the downpour on 7 January. The flood water raced across the Haughs smashing down the perimeter wall and flooding the team changing rooms.
The club hope to raise the £1000 so they can continue the repair work that has already started. The perimeter wall at the ground has already been rebuilt and the damaged stand has been repaired. The changing rooms need to be dried out completely so they can be repainted and brought back in to use.
All the electrical items that were in the building will also need to be replaced after they were damaged by the flood water.
